Project Description

Scope of Work:

This project involves the provision of sprinkler coverage and fire alarm system upgrades in the plant area. There is a pipe replacement scope of work within the Cancer Building on the second floor to suit the addition of the backflow preventer at the Boiler Room water entry. Emergency exit signage in the area of work will be replaced with new. Lighting in areas where new ceilings are being provided will be replaced with new. New sprinkler piping near overhead doors will be provided with heat trace. Architectural work includes the provision of corridor walls and ceilings, ceiling replacements in exit stair and corridor sections, and fire stopping of new penetrations through fire rated wall assemblies.
