Project Description

Construction of a new 2-story, 3529 m2 school. School will be constructed of a steel shell on footings supported with piles. The building facade is a combination of brick masonry, aluminum, phenolic and metal siding. Sitework includes provisions for contaminated soil remediation. Scope also includes the design,supply and installation of solar panels on the roof.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Sitework contractors – review and provide Unit Rates required in Appendix D – Removal of contaminated soils.
Unit rates will be applied to actual quantities. The subtotal is included in the stipulated base bid price.

There is a prequalified list for the following trades:

Electrical
Asphalt
Roofing
Data Cabling

SCHEDULE:

Work at the site is to commence: One week after letter of intent has been issued by OCDSB
Substantial Completion of the new school is required by: August 3, 2026
Completion of the new school is required by: September 1, 2026
Completion of the Gym is required by: October 1, 2026
Completion of the Daycare is required by: December 1, 2026
